Created with C4D and PS.
Up late, thinking about the state of the world. I decided to create this piece to express my sentiments about the violence, hatred, and depression running through current times. When is enough, enough?

One evening I was looking through the IG-Sphere and found an incredible artist by the name of Kip Omolade. He created these beautifully rendered chrome face pertruding from a flat, colorful wall. Each painting capture a mood, a feeling. Here is what Omolade has to say about his pieces: " historically connect[ed] to ancient, realistic African sculptures such as Benin ivory masks and Ife bronze heads. The oil paintings are psychological studies that investigate immortality, the universal masks we all wear and contemporary notions of beauty and luxury."

His work inspired me to dive into C4D and create a 3D reaction to his paintings. I wanted to see how far I could push his vision. What new elements can I bring to his already wonderful work. Below are my inaugural pieces.
"In Enrico Caruso's time, salon music was the prerogative of gramophones with big, shiny horns. In 2016, designer from Verona Paolo Cappello offers his own version of those elegant lines, inspired by the look of 90s Windows clip art and with all the materials, high fidelity and modern technology that is necessary to caress the ear drum." "They're vases, containing stories, artisanal know-how, layers of processes and creative techniques. They're not antique artifacts but rather a new kind of archeology, sublimated into contemporary vases by artist Ben Branagan. His ongoing project is called "Monuments" and the aim, upon closer inspection, is quite impressive." View more of Branagan's work here.
"Milanese photographer Daniele Tamagni goes off the beaten path by exploring a territory somewhere between fashion and news report. During a trip to Congo, he captured the colorful style of the 'Sapeurs', a community of elegant gentlemen who follow a code that is as much aesthetic as it is of conduct, foppish yet polite. Inspiring a collection by fashion designer Paul Smith." View more of Daniele Tamagni's work here.

The great thing about Marvel, to me, is their ability to draw from current social issues and create art with a message. I lit and textured this model of Captain America and created a piece that represents the mood of the upcoming film.
